Kevin joined the predecessor firm of B. Hanson CA and its affiliate, the Zobec Group of Companies, in 2010. Kevin established the successor entity of Baker Tilly Insley in 2013. As Principal of Baker Tilly, Kevin is responsible for the oversight and development of the firm’s audit practice.

Kevin has been a Chartered Accountant since 1991 and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 1996. He is a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Stoy Hayward (part of the BDO group) in London, England. He moved to Bermuda in 1991 with KPMG. In conjunction with his role as Principal of Baker Tilly, Kevin is also President of the Zobec Group of Companies and has more than 30 years of combined professional experience in Bermuda.

In addition to his time in public accounting, Kevin ran the offshore corporate finance and treasury office for a multi-national pharmaceutical company, which included responsibility for managing that company’s captive insurance entity. During this time Kevin led a series of structured financings including raising in excess of $2.5 billion in working capital. He also played a key role in a corporate recovery plan, including a $2 billion corporate debt restructuring and divestiture of a healthcare investment portfolio. In his capacity as a CFA, Kevin was an integral member of the treasury team, managing in excess of $2 billion of assets.

A strong advocate for international business, Kevin is Treasurer and a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Bermuda International Companies (ABIC). Representing the internationally owned businesses located in Bermuda, ABIC plays a key role in the direction of legislation, policies and practices as it relates to international business in Bermuda. Kevin serves as a director on the boards of certain public company subsidiaries based in Bermuda.

Kevin is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the Chartered Professional Accountants of Bermuda and the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts.
